I will do a post about it for you Mrs C. with lots of photos. We have a tin roof, we built our house ourselves room by room and we are still building(sigh). we don’t have a basement but I would love a cellar. 90% of our home is built from recycled materials that we either scavenged from the tip (pre 1995 before they changed the old tip into a refuse disposal centre with bins chokkas full of political correctness),or had been given or bought 2nd hand.. Both Jeff and I love timber, so all of the interior is lined out with some sort of wood. baltic pine, bits of blackwood,some huon and myrtle and lots of vj pine lining.

I just get little glimpses of your house every now and then. I’m curious what it’s made from, whether you have a basement. What’s the roof made out of? Did you build it yourself?

Here, I have a regular house but yours looks log cabin-y and interesting. :]

There are two small silver goldfishy things Taz, as well as some freshwater snails. I had some tadpoles in there before the fish were foisted upon me.(I moved the taddies back outside).
I really don’t like goldfish because they eat frogspawn and native fish eggs as well and are a complete environmental disaster. But what could I do when Dave came home with them but put them in the fish tank and feed the rotten things.
Now Amy has discovered them and very excitedly wants to feed the FISH FISH FISH… I am doomed…
