I love this shot! The late-afternoon golden-orange light, the shadow and silhouette… it’s so lovely. The small child with the long road ahead (the curve making the and of the road out of sight!)… it’s just beautiful.
Oh the captions that could go with this. It’s perfect. Makes you want to fill in the story — or make one up.
On another note, I’m trying to spread some love around today. Maybe this falls in the category of “self-promotion”, but really I’m just trying to gather some good karma for a friend who could really use it right now.

That is just stunning. I’d ask if you’ve used a filter or anything, but I’d bet that’s just the way it looks. Don’t I remember you or V talking about the soil there being red? I hope you frame that one.
And a year from now you’ll have another beautiful subject to fill your camera lens. You are truly blessed.
