A wild peacock! You do have all the good tricks up your sleeve, don't you?

The great thing about reading blogs from all over the world, is realizing that these disorders and such are SO WIDE SPREAD, yet so little is known about them.

That is a little bizarre. A peacock wandered into your yard? Weird. Really weird.

It's good that Veronica is getting further testing. And it sucks that this is a possibility.

As far as I know Kim its 'normal' for people with undiagnosed EDS or HMS to be given various incorrect diagnosis along the way. Growing pains is typical of this as are things like osgood schlatters disease(sp). You might want to start asking around the family...do people have high arched palates, is there much gum disease or issues with teeth, can anyone put their fist in their mouth, can they do the things in the beighton scale, any gymnasts or dancers? Are there people with lots of unexplained injuries, does anyone have the attention seeker label etc. Funnily enough what has been described about your MIL is uncannily close to the description of my maternal grandmother.
I hope you're doing ok Kim and feeling a little better now the wheels are rolling. Hugs and love BG x

Isn't Sever's Disease something to do with the feet? David doesn't also dislocate his ankles does he? My daughter and I are both able to turn our feet and walk on the sides of them.Me, not so much anymore, with the stiffness I've been developing. At the hospital once for a sprained foot her doctor thought she had broken the ankle because she was resting her foot on its side.
