Yay for Lotus, this is all her idea..

It is not often that I am the passenger in a car, so on Tuesday when Mum offered to drive us both into town, (Hobart) I jumped at the chance. I took a gazillion shots and enjoyed not having to drive..YaY

I am now officially declaring myself a total photographic dunce. Your pictures are amazing. I especially love the one taken through the side view mirror, and the hubby with the gentle eyes. The green ogre with the twin exhaust made me giggle. Ogres are well known for their farting. Think Shrek.

  6. Oh your skies!! Gorgeous!
the one of your hubby has to be my favourite though!

  15. These are all fantastic kim. Where do I start?
My first fave is of your hubby.
That is such a great shot in so many ways.
To me it screams typical Aussie bloke!
I love the billowing clouds over the bridge and the photo before, kind of in motion of the colonial house on the hill.
Also; look at all that traffic in Tassie!
That has to be close to town.

All of the sky shots, of course. The one with the leaves off to the side, you could make that into a poster of a canvas or something, a print.
The kitties ears just peaking over the computer made me laugh out loud (and it’s very early here and everyone in the house is still asleep, well, except for me).

  16. Whoa. Those are some great photos. I really like the clouds above the overpass, but the one with the clouds in the car mirror is fabulous. I love it!

The sunsets are so beautiful! We are having decent sunsets lately, but the view to the west is power lines and a power plant and houses. Not a good thing to take photos of, and it has been so cold I am not willing to walk a couple blocks to get a better shot — it has been 10 below to just around zero degrees, and today it was 25 below. That is too cold to go outside if you don’t have to. Way too cold.

I also love the photos of the cat’s ears and your husband, I assume, with the nails in his mouth.

    Great photos, as always!

  20. The green Tas Ogre made me laugh! But you knew that. Your husband’s eyes…I could get lost in those suckers. I love a man’s man who’s got a mouth full of screws (nails?) because he’s busy BUILDING something. Is that a real hummingbird or a piece of art?

    Beautiful.

  21. Wow those are some amazing clouds. Beautiful pictures :)

  22. AMAZING set this week Kim :) My faves are the clouds & the cloud reflection pics. LOL @ the Ogre tag! The kitty ears is just TOO CUTE! And awesome sky shots~I never tire of seeing those :)

I love those pictures of sunset and of a fire in the dark! They remind me of a canvas print I got this christmas of the sunset in my area (my niece took the photo herself).
