@ Jientje,

I think it is called a harlequin bug.. Jeff calls it a stink beetle lol. The spider was on the window and that is how I got the lovely sillhouette

Marylin March 8, 2009 at 8:05 pm

Love the skies. :)

It must be spider week or something… we’ve had a HUGE huntslady spider running around our living room too. Ooooh those red skies are just gorgeous!

Tracey March 8, 2009 at 9:26 pm

GRRRRRRRRRR….so the third photo was my favourite, until I saw the fourth. Then I saw the pretty birdies, but the skies……OMG the skies! I don’t see the things you see :( My world is just not the same colour as yours. These are so beautiful, Kim. Really. Well, the spider not so much, but the rest? Magic.

hip chick March 8, 2009 at 9:43 pm

Bwahahahaha… “might not even notice it…”

RIGHT… you know, since it was so small!

Freakin’ spiders.

I love the sky shots. Makes me believe for half a second that things are right in the world.

“….if you scroll quickly past it you might not even notice it…”

Oh, HA HA HA. who on earth can possibly scroll quickly past any of your fantabulous photos?

Avril March 9, 2009 at 4:09 pm

Breathtaking skies!!! Absolutely breathtaking – those last two!! Love all the colours in the photos – even the blended-in birdie. How did you get so close – or did you use the full zoom -to that spider without freeking out! We get a huge rain spider that looks like that – which I touched once as it was ‘resting’ in the letterbox – they freek me out now!

Mum March 9, 2009 at 5:19 pm

Like the new look and the bird photos, why can’t I get shots like that????????

Ree March 10, 2009 at 10:48 am

What are those blue birds? Gorgeous… all of them.

Taz March 13, 2009 at 11:19 pm

am loving the new layout.. :)

Barbara March 15, 2009 at 6:50 am

Oh. My. God. I’m only a little bit scared of spiders but just the picture of that one made me feel a bit shaky.

Love your sunset – they’re so beautiful.
