Hi first time here. I was just stumbling around and noticed your picture taken while driving. I took a similar picture (my wife was driving). They are stunning photos and speak volumes of your pain and suffering.... alongside your mum. Am so sorry this is happening, she sounds like such an interesting person and one I would love to know. You were and are very welcome to comment on the dragonfly quilt post....my friends who already quilt probably do not need another quilt! @River, I balanced the camera on the steering wheel So that I could keep on driving. I set the camera ISO to 1250 which makes the camera use all the available light. No, no flash at all.I liked the sunrise shots as well because the rainy shots were dark like my mood but the sunrise shots were to remind me that tomorrow really is another day. Mum is getting tired of being sick and her pain is getting stronger.I want to be down at the hospital 24/7 and it is really frustrating that I need to be up here as well. Thanks again for the chocolates.

I love the driving in the rain shots. Did you press the lens right up against the windshield to get those? did you have to set your camera for night shooting? I’m guessing you couldn’t use the flash because of oncoming traffic. The last sunrise photo is fantastic.
