There is no rhyme or reason to these photos this week. I was just clicking through the folders and randomly grabbing out photos that I liked or that I responded to emotionally.
Anyone can join in with this Photo Meme, “Sunday Selections” but I do ask that you only add your link if you are joining in with Sunday Selections, as links that are off topic or spam will be removed. Also be careful when you are adding your URL as the Mr Linky will remember your old URL and we will click onto an old post.
Here is the weekly blurb.
I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.
Publish your photos on your blog using the “Sunday Selection” title.

Easy Peasy.

Wow, I’ve gone from dark and mysterious with the merry-go-round, to nodding in frustration at the roadworks and then laughing at the fly – it looks like he (or she) is looking straight at you and saying: “stay away”! LOL! Great selection of shots, Kim.
Great photo’s as usual 🙂 I love carousel / merry-go-round horses so the first one is my fav but the fly one is up there too, I like the depth of field, who knew an image of a fly could look so artistic.
Tidelines… wish I knew where it was taken and what was going on. Seems sort of forboding. Found myself looking to see if something were emerging. 🙂
PS May I ask sometime you publish a drawing or two? If youwant. I’m just curious.
I like random. Love the fly photo.
Love this! Gorgeous idea Kim. A myriad of pics to now be seen. Thank You ;~)
@Happy Elf Mom I am going to take photos of my drawings and I will publish them. Just to prove that if I can learn to draw, ANYONE can 🙂 The photo tidelines was taken at the mouth of the Carlton River here in southern Tassie. It was very swirly and when I got home and edited the photos all I could see were mermaids, it was a bit freaky.
*note to self * LEARN TO TAKE BETTER PHOTOS!
Kim, I just love the one of the birds.
I love the tidelines photo it is so I don’t know how to put it, it is just amazing.
Love the first one Kim and the road work photo too. All are thought provoking.
I’m so very random this week as well.
Cheeky birds. They taunt cats!
I love the birds one and the carousel horses, although being Austarlian, I should say Merry-Go-Round. Does anyone still call them hurdy-gurdies?
My Sunday Selections seem to have evolved into themes, probably because when I’ve got the camera going I take so many shots of similar things.
The roadworks one is my favourite. The composition and the colour is amazing. You rock.
Three guesses what my favourite ride was when I was a child and was allowed to go on the merry-go-round. Yep. So I love your photo of your kind of spooky one. The road works one is fun. Nice focus. But my favourite shot is that of the birds 😉
Anyway, my Sunday Selections is up.
I made it!
I really like the roadworks one. I love roads, which is a strange thing to love and very much at odds with many other things I believe in.
The fly is creepy, but a great shot.
KIM!
