Here we go again.
The Blurb.
I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.
Publish your photos on your blog using the “Sunday Selections” title.
Link back here to me.
Easy Peasy.
Here are my photos for this week.

love watching fire dance …. in a controlled environment of course 🙂
we used to call the sparks fairies when we were kids.
I have always loved playing with fire, I am the one that is always poking the fire, or cooking toast on a stick. I am so happy to have my slow combustion stove operational.
Dramatic and beautiful. Thanks.
My pleasure 🙂
WOW amazing pics!!!!
Thank you.
Is this the wood oven warming up your kitchen?
It takes the edge off River but I need to keep the wood heater ticking over as well in order to heat the house properly.
I could gaze at smouldering logs for hours, they make me feel warm and cosy. Great photos as usual Kim.
Thanks Kakka, I enjoy watching the flames as well.
something magical about a slow fire
Yes.
Lovely Kim, so nice to capture the flames the way you did, very magical and mystical. I miss joining in but just haven’t had much computer time lately… hopefully jump on board again once I’ve finished off many of my weekend projects.
Sunday Selections will be here waiting. Join back in whenever you like 🙂
Such warm photos, perfect for a wintery evening.
I love being around a fire pit or an open fire, the warmth, the smell, even the smoke making my eyes water.
Happy Sunday.
Great captures of the flames Kim. Almost makes me want a wood fire again 🙂
The last one looks really sensual. Was that a longer exposure shot?
Those flames are just amazing. My grandma had a fireplace and I loved watching the fire when I was a child. It reminds me of her.
Hey,
love that last shot. Does this have something to do with the woodfiring of ceramics?
My sunday selections are up. I’m not around much in Blogworld, very busy in the garden as in every spring (and autumn too actually).
We are going camping tonight and your pics got me excited for the wonderful camp fire!
your pictures are all so different. I always look forward to seeing what you’re going to post each Sunday.
fantastic fire…….very cool
Photo number three is spectacular – I LOVE it!
