Sunday Selections #59

I am sorry this post is so late, I have been at a Ceramic workshop all day. It is a zillion degrees outside and I am melting.

The Blurb

I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.

I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.

So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.

Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.

Publish your photos on your blog using the “Sunday Selections” title.

Link back here to me.

The Photos

Just one photo today and it is of the spectacular sunrise the other morning.

I will come and see all your lovely photos tomorrow morning, when I am not so melty.

You are right, that is a truly incredible sunrise. Here ours are more galah coloured, soft greys and pinks.

I hope the Ceramic Workshop went well and you recover from the vile temperatures. Were you giving or attending the workshop?

Ours are often very vivid red, I like the subtlety of a grey sky though, the complex oyster creaminess of layers of grey are lovely. And I was attending the workshop, though I will be teaching one soon ( but it will be about using facebook)

Oh, how lovely. (The picture, not the heat 🙂

    • frogpondsrock February 26, 2012, 7:46 pm

The heat is definitely the opposite of lovely. Thanks also for your comment on my ethics post. I am too heatstricken to think straight I will try and respond tomorrow 🙂

What an amazing sunrise! I love it! I rarely see sunrises now.

Cooler temperatures are on the way, it’s cloudy and cool here now, (outside, inside my living room is like a cooling down oven…) with temps in the twenties for the rest of the week. Thank goodness! Yesterday’s heat left me with the type of headache which I know from experience that can only be fixed with chocolate and very sweet coffee. It’s too hot for coffee and I don’t have any chocolate.

Was the workshop fun? Did you teach or learn?

This heat is cruel River. Cruel. I was learning. it was a great workshop

Spectacular is almost an understatement for that sunrise.
    Keep it cool Kim 😉

Kim, I’m so late I’m not here! Just letting you know how much I enjoy your photos. That sunset is so beautiful. I could feel the cool(er) Tasmanian morning air! Also LOVED that post about nestle. You are a pot stirrer! It was so well-said. Nestle could do so much good if they had a mind. What a shame.
