Well maybe not all of them will be super pretty but there aren’t any photos of roadkill, spiders orΒ super blurry treescapes in this lot.
I have been going for a walk each morning, (well the last two mornings anyway.) I have put on a lot of weight this past year, comfort eating and losing my teeth combined with a general malaise regarding food preparation have seen me slip into some lazy eating habits.
I had been too busy to exercise or too tired in the evenings when I get home. But now with spring just around the corner it is light enough in the mornings that I can go for a walk before the morning mayhem begins.

Beautiful Kim.
I need to start walking too. I am gearing myself up for long walks in the evenings, when Dave gets home. I am so ready for Spring.
Gorgeous pics and not a roadkill in sight π PS Loved yesterdays
I’m the same as you, in the putting on too much weight over the past 12 months or so, so last Friday when it was 5am and I couldn’t sleep, I got up about 5.30 and went for a walk. Same again this morn. I’ll aim for twice a week, but I figure it will be better than what I’ve been doing over the past 12 months (ie NAUGHT) π Good on you for walking regularly. Making the most of the beautiful morning light too!
Oh wow Kim, I love these. The hue? is just stunning. You could truly sell your photo’s to adorn discerning customers walls. For a moment I thought the wood was a pile of skinny crocodiles. eek. Please go for more walks which will mean more photo’s. One of my teeth fell out on holiday, too many years of smoking I am afraid combined with the dreadful effect of EDS on gums and teeth means I fear too soon I will need a serious denture thing going on. I always put on weight in the winter but at the moment am not eating enough. Walks are therapeutic, I miss long walks.
My goodness that is early Kim. Beautiful skies though π
Meccano Boy and I go for a walk around the estate at least three times a week now. Physio for him and much-needed exercise for me. I have some photos too. Once I work out how to downsize them I’ll try to send some to you. There are a couple of great ‘mist’ shots (by my poor standards anyway!).
Love your eye, as always π
I love the first two. The road of possibilities and power, which we all have in one way or another. The upside down trees made me look twice.
I planned on going for a daily walk while I’m off work, but it hasn’t happened. I’m afraid that by Christmas my bum may be as wide as my couch, since I am also comfort eating.
I really like your interpretation of the first two photos River. The upside down trees are reflections in a dam.
Oh these are gorgeous, particularly the first and last! π
I love the first one. A beautiful entry into the day ahead.
I have been getting up early before work 2/week to work out. This is unheard of for me. I am so glad I’m doing it though. It feels good.

Your dawn shot at the top is lovely. Makes me want to go off strolling into the bush somewhere with a border collie!
Thanks for the beautiful glimpses of Tasmania. The flying bird is pretty cute… the way you caught his wings up and legs dangling down! The first shot is my favorite. I like the mothership cloud and soft light on the bumpy road.
