@Kelli, I particularly like the third photo as well. It is a hanging twirly thing that was my Mums and I had heaps of fun photographing it.
@ Barbara, the studio is very exciting squee! and the sky is lovely. Also I agree it is a lovely joyful shot of Amy but she scared me a bit as she has absolutely no fear of the water and would have kept on running out deeper and deeper into the waves. It was quite stressful for me but complete FUN for Amy
Great photos. I particularly like the Jonquils, the close-up of Amy (she looks like she’s having lots of fun) and the studio looks like it’s coming along! 😀
Although Kim get Veronica to look at it and her left foot (its just because I’m hypermobile) I can’t assess the other as she has its off the ground. Her ankle is pronating a lot and its causing her knee to turn. I wonder whether she would benefit from inserts in her shoes (piedro’s are good). I am not sure if she is too young for a full podiatrists assessment or has had one recently. She looks as though she has had a growth spurt, perhaps thats why I mentioned it. Its at growth spurt times that the hypermobility can be more pronounced. Just a thought. Not a hectic one though. I keep wondering you know whether Amy would benefit from or would accept is it the specialist that I can’t remember the name of that does very very gentle massage? on the head – cranio something? Its just a close relative whose child also hypermobile went through some behavioural stuff and it really helped. I am so not saying its a cure all for the possible Asperger’s just that his behaviour was so similar. I know I have a tendency to notice stuff on the EDS side but despite her very relaxed stance her neck looks rigid to me and held slightly forward. Awful terminology I know but my brain is only finding sparse vocabulary tonight. It has to be done by someone specially trained as its not good to muck about with necks/heads especially children’s. I probably only notice because I have EDS it may be that its the type of thing a GP would not notice.
And there’s you just posting a few wonderful photo’s and me going off on one!. I bet you can’t wait to while away the hours in your studio.
Love the jonquils!! They remind me of my mother’s garden. Mum always puts them on my nan’s grave. One of the ways I feel connected to the grandmother I don’t remember.
Such beautiful photos Kim. The joy on Amy’s face is wonderful to behold 😉 And the sunset – your sky shots are always totally amazing!

Hello! What beautiful photos – Amy is so grown up! I am going well thanks, just so busy I never have much time on the net anymore. I’m into my second year of teaching, I own part of a dancing school (and get all the admin to go with it), teaching lots of dancing classes and still trying to keep up with my volunteer activities! I hope you’re keeping well and I’ll try to drop back soon.
