I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.

That last picture is a little disturbing (I’m not good with enclosed dark spaces). Where is it?
It is Kryptos by Brigita Ozolins It was commissioned by David Walsh for Mona.
ah thank you 🙂 Reading a bit more about it I can see why it feels disturbing. I don’t like secrets, they bother me, especially secrets which harm others.
I can picture the movie these shots come from. Amazing. And, as Marita says, a little spooky. You do atmospheric photos superbly.
Thanks 🙂 I don’t ever really have a plan for the photos I just picked out three that I liked from old folders and then put them in a sequence that seemed to work.
I REALLY love that second photo.
It looks like you laid down on the floor to take it.
Glass ceilings….Willie Wonka….chocolate…..mmmmm.
No, I just stood there in the middle of the room and pointed the camera at the glass ceiling. It was taken on my first day in Sydney in a complex thingy opposite the Queen Victoria building. I cant remember what it was called. But there was a good sushi train upstairs as well as a bookshop that served good coffee.
Interesting that you don’t have a plan, but these seem to spin a tale of reflection and angles. I like it, but I am not so scared of the spooky stuff. Well, only that this is more psychologically spooky. I don’t like monsters. LOL
I don’t have a plan when I take the photos, I just capture images that I like or that I think would work well with some clay. These three photos just seemed to fit well together.
I love the lines in the second shot … and what’s the reflection of the lights in the first shot?? wet road????
It is on the bonnet of the car, I took the photo as I was driving home.
Love Love Love the pics.
Thanks Megan 🙂
With the hills in the background I’d hazard a guess that the first photo was taken on the way home from the city. Love all the lines, angles and reflections in this grouping.
Spot on! I am about twenty minutes away from home, I live on the other side of that hill (and to the left a bit lol )
I got dizzy just looking at that second photo. What a fantastic angle to choose, and looking at the sharp inclinations and the grid-like view through the glass ceiling, it’s perfect. As others have noted, the darker pictures are a little eerie and I can only admire your ability to capture that feeling – it takes a special eye to “see” the effect. It gives me a shivery dejavu, as we are just coming out of our recent winter darkness and hoping it never returns. Thank you again for a great selection and for hosting Sunday Selections.
It is my pleasure Marie.
I really like the 1st and last pictues 😉
The middle one makes me a tad dizzy as i am just a tad claustrophobic!
I love the second one 🙂 Love the glass and the rectangles.
Great shots. I love the second one because of its angles that can’t possibly be right but clearly are!
Now that I’ve read the comments and I know what it is and how you made it, I really really LOVE that second photo.
Gorgeous. Very very beautiful. I love these.
Goodness, I assumed that they were all taken together. I love the middle one.
