Look I made a button for you.
The Blurb
I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.
Publish your photos on your blog using the “Sunday Selections” title.

Easy Peasy.

That first picture of the trees reminds me of twins playing in the forest.
I am pleased you liked them Marita, they are in my backyard and when the one on the right was small, The Spouse ran over it with the four wheel drive, and it grew with a kink in it for years. You can just see the kink below the bottom branch on the right.
heh! so there is
That reptilian eye gave me quite a surprise! And, whilst I have seen it before, for some reason the one after that is looking upside down to me today. A comment on my headspace, perhaps?
I like the mist behind the trees in the first one, although it also makes me think of smoke.
Perhaps 🙂 it is a closeup of the underside of the Bowen Bridge, which spans the Derwent River.
You are the Queen of photos with attitude. While they are all a glory and a delight and/or thought provoking I love the tree and the cliffs today.
Thank you EC, The trees are in my backyard and I have lots of photos of them with various birds perched in the branches, once very luckily I captured an eagle sitting there as well. I will find it for you and re-publish it.
I love them all! Each telling its own story. I especially like that sculpture.
So do I Sam, so do I, when you come down to Tassie we will go out to MONA together and I will show it to you.
Ohh these are gorgeous… the first and 2nd to last are my faves of this lot! xx
The bridge photo is one of my favourites as well Marylin 🙂
Ahhhhhh – I can’t pic a fav. They are all my favourite. I love the macro, I love the lines in the structures, especially the bridge, I love the fire, those ghost trees and the rocks the rocks, ahhh the rocks…..
I am pleased. I wasn’t sure about this set, I thought it might be too sombre, now I am pleased I went with my first instinct.
ha! – I pulled a photo of a flower-covered coffin at a family funeral . It is beautiful in its own way. But just posting it on 365 raised eyebrows.
Besides, I made the image with caption to use in a blog post sometime, so it may yet get its own run….
Ooooh! Snake eyes! Well, one snake eye…
I love the strung books and the bridge underside, and the empty rose calyxes, oh, that rocky cliff!
That cliff, (which could also be a charred piece of wood), has a face in it. Do you see it?
Yes.
I love love love the trees in the mist Kim. That is so beautiful and moody. I love how the background goes from dark at the bottom to light at the top, and the trees do the opposite. What great contrast. Wow! I’m speechless. That would look wonderful blown up on the wall and I would love it on a greeting card too.
I didn’t quite stick to the rules again. I posted today’s photos. One day I’ll find some old ones ….
Thankyou SD, I will send you a copy 🙂
Oo, some great shots there. Love the trees and the books, and the perspective and light in the second to last one.
I really love the first photo.
