Hello my lovelies, number 55 has a nice ring to it don’t you think? I am at work in the Off Centre again today so I don’t know if I will have time to visit you today or not. Anyhow without any further babble from me here is…
The Blurb
I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.

After the first 3 blurred images (are #2 & #3 in a church? Or, somewhere with stained glass, at least?) the detail of #4 was quite a shock.
That sky is amazing.
How is the exhibition going? Have been meaning to ask, but school holidays are killing my online life right now.
#2 and #3 are photos of my washing on the line on the verandah. The exhibition is going well and preparations for my next big show in March are coming along nicely as well. I am flat stick actually :0
Oooo, love the macro of the furry insect. Strange, but we don’t think of insects as being furry creatures. Even though lots of them are quite the hairy monsters. And that sky is stunning.
Hi Carolina, Blogger’s word verification is playing up and I can’t comment on your blog. Just wanted to let you know I’m enjoying seeing your woodpecker photos. I love the 6th one where he’s in mid flight.
Thanks 🙂 Sometimes I think Bugger would have been more appropriate than Blogger 😉
It was a very lucky shot. I quickly snapped three or four images and when I saw them on the computer I was quite pleased.
Love Love Love the last one!
Hi Megan, Blogger’s word verification is playing up and I can’t comment on your blog. Your first pic is fab. Love the water fountains in the second pic too.
Grins, thanks Megan
Insect shot is great. Looks almost sweet and cuddly!
very strokable
Love the tiger-lily… it’s an interesting shot. I have a thing for orange at the moment (I wonder what that means?).
Great macro shot of the moth too.
no idea lol
Love the tiger lily – which I am also featuring this week. The insect is amazing and that sky… Wow.
I am pleased you like them I mixed in some traditional shots with some images that I really liked. The tiger lily being my favourite
Love LOVE the macro and the pink/purple sky.
Thank you lovely
I love the colours in the last one.
somehow I managed to link my link to last weeks one when I tried to link it to this week. So it’s now linked twice. oops.
oh well The more the merrier, I liked your motorbike photo I haven’t commented yet though.
I LOVE the colours in the blurred shots, Kim!!
Thanks Toni I really like the colours as well. It is actually my clothes on the washing line on the verandah 🙂
Going by other’s comments I take it that first shot is meant to be a tiger lily?
To me it looks like a blurred shot of someone’s cleavage.
I love the moth on the parsley flowers and the sunset sky is the best ever.
If you hover your mouse over my photos River the title will pop up underneath the mouse. That is how come everyone knows it is a tiger lily. I think I will have to take more photos of parsley flowers, I hadn’t really looked at them properly before the Moth landed on them
Wow. Well, I love the moth, naturally, but that last shot of the trees silhouetted against the red background is just stunning! Well done!!
It was a glorious sunset that night Jay. The reds just kept on getting redder.
That sunset is AMAZING! I like the moth too, your macro is getting better and better.
Thanks. I am getting more comfortable with the macro lens. Using the macro makes me think about the image differently and that part of my brain was a bit dusty.
The last two are stunning!
Thankyou Jientje. I have been having trouble taking cloud photos with the DSLR and so I have been ignoring the sunsets a bit lately. I am happy with that shot. And as for the Moth I am only just starting to have a decent play with my macro lens and I was very happy with that photo as well.
My god that sunset is beautiful. I wish I could capture sunsets like that.
I just zoomed onto the tree Marita. Then when I was editing the image in photoshop I upped the black a tiny bit to make the tree a little bit blacker, that is why there is so much noise in this shot 🙂
Fascinating, I need to work out how to play around with the pictures some more 🙂
